FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- What happens if I have a small group (under 20) and if we choose NOT to join groups from other parishes?

- In order to take advantage of the prices given for our sample tours, smaller groups will be combined usually into groups of 35 to 45 passengers). If you want your group to travel independently we will be happy to provide customized pricing for YOUR group ONLY, no matter how many participants you have (all airlines, however, require a minimum of TEN people to be eligible for a group airfare!).

- Can I make changes to the sample itineraries?

- Yes, you can, and you are invited to do so. Once again, this would make your tour a customized trip and
would have to be priced separately. A repricing would also be necessary if you require more than ONE
free land package.

- Can we buy the “land only” from CLUB EUROPA - and the flights through a local travel agent?

- Yes, no problem - just keep us informed about your flight arrangements as soon as they are definite.

- Can CLUB EUROPA arrange venues for Mass?

- Yes, we do this for most of our pilgrimage groups. Please let us know in which city you would like to
celebrate Mass with your group and we will try our best to accommodate your requests.

- Why is airfare not included in the pricing?
-
- Airlines do not guarantee space or airfares earlier than 300 days prior to departure. Rather than surprising
you with a sudden fare and/or tax increase we believe in quoting you accurate pricing which will be available
in late summer of 2010. Beware of tour operators offering you an airfare or a price for land AND air
prior to August 2010 ! CLUB EUROPA will gladly arrange your flights from your preferred gateway or
even local airport. Although we off er group flights we will also be happy to do a “land only” arrangement
for your group.

- What assistance will be provided by CLUB EUROPA during our tour and WYD?

- Every group will have a permanent CLUB EUROPA escort from arrival in Europe through their arrival
in Madrid (August 15). During World Youth Day CLUB EUROPA will be present in Madrid with
an office and a sufficient number of staff to guarantee assistance for your group at any time and for any
concern. All escorts / assistants are multilingual. We have close affiliations with several ground operators in Spain.

- Can we get travel insurance through Club Europa?

- Yes, and we strongly recommend to obtain health & accident insurance for the duration of your tour.
About a year prior to your departure we will send you detailed information and a sufficient number of
insurance forms which are to be filled out and sent – along with your payment - directly to the insurance
company. CLUB EUROPA has worked with TRAVELEX Insurance for over 15 years.

- Is anybody from Club Europa available for a preparatory meeting prior to departure?

- Yes. If you want to schedule a meeting a few weeks before departure, our Andy Benz will be glad to attend,
give an introduction to your journey and answer your questions. Andy, who is European like many
of our staff , is the owner of CLUB EUROPA and has been in the travel business since 1978.

- When are payments due?
- Upon verbal acceptance of our proposal we will send you a contract. The contract explains deposits,
cancellation deadlines, fees, refunds, and all necessary details.
- With the return of the signed contract (within 45 days) a deposit of $ 100.- per person is due; the
total amount of your deposit will reflect the number of participants you expect for your pilgrimage. (If you expect30 participants, the initial deposit will be $ 3,000.-). Of this first deposit $ 50.- per person is non refundable.
- Deadlines for further deposits will be outlined in the contract.
- Final payment will be due by May 1, 2011.
All deposit will be applied to your land cost.
Late booking requests (after final payment) will be accepted subject to availability.

Tuesday, Aug 16: Registration Day and Opening Mass
Wednesday, Aug 17, 18, 19: World Youth Day Activities in and
around Madrid
Saturday, Aug 20: Overnight Vigil (venue still unknown)
Sunday, Aug 21: Final mass with the Holy Father at "Cuatro Vientos".

will enable you to keep the cost down by taking advantage of our group rates which are generally based on a minimum
number of 20 paying participants and always INCLUDE ONE FREE – please let us know if more of your staff need to
travel free of charge.

Rates and prices depend on the choices you can make:
- Choose from our sample itineraries, make changes, or let us help you create your own
- Choose from among budget hotels, tourist class, first class…..
- Choose how many of your clergy and staff need to travel FREE of charge – ONE is always included for 20 paying.
- Choose the number of meals you want included (breakfast is always included) – anything is available from picnic style lunches to superior welcome and farewell dinners.
…and please keep in mind: prices drop considerably the more participants you have in your group !
